AER’s Dr. Becky Adams-Selin is the principal investigator of the recently awarded NSF field campaign, In-situ Collaborative Experiment for the Collection of Hail in the Plains (ICECHIP). Dr. Adams-Selin will lead researchers across 16 organizations and international partners. ICECHIP will provide the first comprehensive observations of hailfall in the U.S. in over 40 years and will help close critical observational knowledge gaps in hail research.
